Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt Russell have been making headlines lately. Wyatt Russell, also an actor, was recently confronted by a bear while filming his streaming show "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters". He revealed that he came within a few yards of the bear on his first day shooting the series. He stars alongside his father, Kurt Russell, in the show.

According to Wyatt, he and his crew were sent down a trail to start filming 100 yards down the trail. They were wearing gas masks and Wyatt had a gun on him. After the director yelled “action,” someone shouted, “Is that a bear?” Wyatt turned around and saw a bear about 20 yards away from him. He said his first reaction was to reach for his prop gun. He then tried to scare the bear away by making himself look big and yelling at it to go away.

Kurt Russell, on the other hand, has been in the movie industry for almost his entire life and has acted in several popular movies such as Escape from New York, Silkwood, Tombstone, and The Hateful Eight. He is also known for his beautiful partnership with actress Goldie Hawn, with whom he has been together for more than 40 years.

In addition to their recent news, Kurt and Wyatt Russell have been working together on the Apple TV+ sci-fi series, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. The father-son duo portray the same character, Lee Shaw, in the epic MonsterVerse series, which follows two timelines, one set in the 1950s and another in 2015, a year after G-Day. While there are monsters and Godzilla, the show is also about a family and their legacy with the secretive organization Monarch.

In an interview with CBR, Kurt and Wyatt Russell shared how they collaborated to create Lee Shaw, reflected on their appreciation of Godzilla, and talked about working with their co-stars for the production. Kurt Russell discovered something new about his son as an artist. "I was just really impressed with Wyatt's demeanor," the elder Russell says proudly. "He's just a really good communicator".
