Announcements Of New Games & Updates

Finally, The Finals Arrives

During the 2023 Game Awards, The Finals, one of Steam's most-wishlisted games, not only received a new trailer but also surprised fans with a sudden release. The free-to-play online shooter had gained a solid following of fans eagerly anticipating its release, but Embark Studios remained silent until the big reveal at TGA. This unexpected shadow drop made for one of the more memorable events of the show, and as a result, The Finals climbed to #4 on Steam's Top Sellers.

Back On Track: Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park: Survival is in development. The Game was previously canceled, but now Saber Interactive is developing it. Unlike the old Game, this new one is a first-person action game. The Game looks great for fans of the franchise, but no release date has been announced yet.

Final Fantasy DLC Out Now

Fans of Final Fantasy 16 have been eagerly waiting for more information on the story DLC that had been announced earlier. During The 2023 Game Awards, a new trailer was released, which was received well by the fans. Apart from providing a fresh look at the content, Square Enix has confirmed that the first DLC, titled "Echoes of the Fallen", will be available to download immediately as a surprise release. They have also announced a second expansion called "The Rising Tide", which is set to release sometime in Spring 2024.

God Of War Ragnarok Now Free DLC

Fans of God of War Ragnarok have been speculating about the possibility of DLC for quite some time now, and it looks like their wishes have finally been granted. During the 2023 Game Awards, it was officially announced that God of War Ragnarok Valhalla, a free expansion, will be released on December 12th, just five days after the TGA reveal. While many were expecting story DLC, the expansion will instead take inspiration from the roguelite genre and focus on intense combat and battle. Set after the final battle with Odin, players can expect to face new challenges and enemies in this exciting new addition to the game.

Marvel's Blade In Development

In 2023 Game Awards, one of the biggest surprises was the reveal of Arkane Lyon's next game titled Marvel's Blade. A stylish trailer of the game was released, which has left more questions than answers. As per the trailer, it is a single-player, third-person action-adventure game with an M for Mature rating. Although the game's release window has not been announced yet, it already looks like another promising release from the studio that brought us Dishonored and Deathloop.

Baldur's Gate 3 Available On Xbox

Larian Studios, the developers of Baldur's Gate 3, recently announced on Xbox that the game is finally available on Xbox Series X/S. Although PS5 and PC players had access to it earlier, Xbox fans had to wait for it. Larian had not provided a specific release date until recently, after the TGA event. The developers had faced problems with the Series S limitations, especially with the split-screen co-op feature, which they had to abandon. However, the wait is finally over, and all current-gen players can now enjoy playing BG3.

New Xbox Horror Game By Hideo Kojima & Jordan Peele

During 2023 Game Awards, game developer Hideo Kojima revealed a sneak peek of his latest creation, OD. The trailer is quite mysterious and doesn't reveal much, except for a star-studded cast that includes Hunter Schafer from the hit show Euphoria. While at The Game Awards, Kojima shared that OD will be an unparalleled cinematic experience. The project is a collaboration with Xbox Game Studios and renowned filmmaker Jordan Peele, known for his groundbreaking movies like Get Out, Us, and Nope. This is a thrilling development for many gamers who have been waiting for a new horror game experience from Kojima.
