2. Boy Kills World

"Boy Kills World" is a 2023 action comedy-thriller film directed by Moritz Mohr, in his feature directorial debut. 

Plot: The movie revolves around a man named Boy, played by Bill Skarsgård, who vows revenge after his family is murdered by Hilda Van Der Koy (Famke Janssen), the matriarch of a corrupt, post-apocalyptic dynasty. The attack left Boy orphaned, deaf, and voiceless. Driven by his inner voice, one which he co-opted from his favorite childhood video game, Boy trains with a mysterious shaman (Yayan Ruhian) to become an instrument of death. He is set loose on the eve of the annual culling of dissidents, committing bloody martial arts mayhem.

Cast: The film stars Bill Skarsgård as Boy, Jessica Rothe, Michelle Dockery, Famke Janssen, Sharlto Copley, Brett Gelman, Isaiah Mustafa, and Andrew Koji.
